Antonello Piras, owner of Krono Sistemi, is a Computer Science Engineer who has been working in the field since 1990. Since his early years, he has been involved in software development and programming, later specializing in the sale and support of management software for professionals and companies from major Italian software houses: Il Sole 24 ore (Esa and Data Ufficio now acquired by Il Sole 24 ORE), Zucchetti, and Dylog.
He holds the main certifications in the field of Office Automation and in addition to being the examiner and administrator of the ECDL Test Center, he also handles training at his own center and collaborates with various regional training bodies.
From 2022 to today, he has worked as a systems analyst at the Sassari Court district.
He participated in the SEMIDAS Sardinia Digital School project, as a supplier and installer of the IWB Kit, and was a Teacher Trainer on the use of IWBs (schools in the province of Sassari with over 2,000 teachers). He currently collaborates with several public schools, specializing in educational technology (software and applications, such as Classroom, which allow students and teachers to share resources), IWBs (Interactive Whiteboards), and the various supported software (Promethean: Active Inspire, Panasonic: Elite Panaboard and Elite Panaboard Book, Luxi: Luxiboard, Mimio: Mimio Studio Notepad).

Krono Sistemi has been an ECDL Test Center since 2003:
Accredited ECDL Test Center (AICA code: ACCZ0033), training is provided for this certification (European Computer Driving Licence) and the possibility of taking the certification exams at the same center is offered.
The Test Centers are authorized centers for the administration of ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) certification exams.
The European Computer Driving Licence is a program managed by CEPIS (Council of European Professional Informatics Societies), the umbrella organization for European computer science associations. Italy is a member country and is represented by AICA (Italian Association for Informatics and Automatic Calculation), which is a founding member of CEPIS.
This certification, promoted by European institutions, is a tool that certifies the set of skills required to work with a personal computer at various levels of depth and specialization, independently or online, within a company, a public institution, or a private practice, ensuring quality of service and facilitating the matching of job supply and demand.
